Superintendent
You'll lead day-to-day site operations on active builds. Own safety, schedule, and trade partners on the ground. We hire supers who take pride in the work, respect the trades, and keep neighbors informed when things get loud.
$70K – $90K·On Site — Portland, OR·Full-time
What You'll Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities in this role.
- Run daily site operations: safety, cleanliness, schedule, and trade coordination
- Enforce quality standards on framing, MEP rough, and finish details
- Coordinate deliveries, inspections, and trade sequencing
- Communicate schedule and site issues to PM and ownership daily
- Maintain a safe, organized job site — PPE, signage, and housekeeping
- Step in on cleanup, sweeping, material handling, or hands-on site work when the job needs it or time opens up
- Walk punch and closeout with PM and trades until it's right
- Protect the budget by catching scope gaps before they become change orders
What We're Looking For
The skills and experience we consider essential.
- 5+ years in residential or multifamily construction, with at least 1 as a super
- Deep knowledge of build sequence, code basics, and trade scopes
- Strong leadership on site — firm, fair, and respected by subs
- Ability to read plans and resolve field conflicts without drama
- Russian language required for daily field communication
- OSHA 30 or willingness to complete within 90 days
- Driver's license
Nice to Have
Bonus points — not required, but they'll help you hit the ground running.
- Finish carpentry or high-end residential background
- Experience on infill or tight urban lots
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus on crew-heavy sites
